New Words and Ouchies

Ethan says some new words including: cracker, cookie, cheese, snack, stuck, no way, up, uh-oh, ga-ga, and pa-pa.

Also I'm learning that having an active boy means dealing with more ouchies. For example yesterday he got 2 ouchies within about 15 minutes of each other. The first he tripped over a toy and landed on a lego block (the underside of the block) so he has a cut the shape of a circle on his right cheek. The other ouchie he fell off the toilet. He likes to climb on the toilet to get onto the bathroom counter and this time he slipped and hit his left cheek/jaw on the toilet which left a little bruise. Poor boy. Usually his ouchies aren't that big of deal and don't leave any marks. It's all part of growing up ...right?

Poor kid. That looks like it hurts. I don't look forward to those days for my kids, but like you said, it's all part of growing up. We can't protect them from everything.

I think Addi had a perma-bruise when she was that age! And always, of course, right on her head for all to see! It just shows that they are very active!

It's so much fun when they start talking!

I was so happy that Corbin still had a binki at that age. I called it his mouth guard - it saved him several times!
