Ethan is now 9 months. He weighs 16 lbs and 13 oz. He is 27 1/2 inches long and his head measured 17 1/2 inches. He's gained 1 lb 13 oz, grew 1 1/2 inches longer, and his head grew 3/4 inches bigger in 3 months time.
The doctor is a little concerned with his weight and developmental progress. He's a little behind (like not army or full crawling, not scooting, not trying to pull up on furniture, not starting to drink from a cup, not feeding himself, etc) so she set up an appointment for an evaluation with the infant and toddler program. Nothing to be concerned about. Basically she wanted to check things out before the delay in his progress gets too big. I should get a call for the evaluation within 2 weeks. If something is found then I will be doing physical therapy and/or occupational therapy with Ethan at home.

He is doing so good--like you said I wouldn't worry too much. And he's such a sweet little cutie guy.
I second Jolene. I don't think he has a problem. And he is trying to get that bum of his into the air, so he's close to crawling. Like I said, Abigail didn't crawl until 10 months, and when she did, it was a full-on crawl. No army crawl. I think doctors sometimes cause parents unneccesary worry.
