Look What I Can Do

Ethan likes to walk behind the dog stroller and his bus that Grandpa and Grandma Gale gave him. He's getting pretty good at it. The bus is a little easier to push on the carpet. Not too long from now he'll be walking on his own. Hooray!

A Day at the Zoo

Yesterday (while the weather was nice...it's been raining the last 2 weeks) we went to the park and then the zoo with Bryan, Hilary, and Kyleigh. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves even though they weren't all that interested in the animals. Oh well maybe in a few years they will show more interest.

To Grandma's House We Go

While Spencer spent the first week of June in New Mexico for work I went to Washington to visit my family. Kathryn and her kids: Kristen, Zachary and Caleb came too. Oh and Sierra my dog as well. Needless to say it was a packed van.

The trip took 10 hours both ways. This wasn't bad considering Ethan and Sierra had never had such a long car ride (The most Ethan had been in the car was a trip to Utah..3 1/2 hrs.. and Sierra only got trips to the vet in the car...10 mins) So the ride went well.

We spent a week and a half at home. It was really fun and really crazy at times too. After school we added four more kids to the mix (my brother Joe and nieces Kaylee, Kiera, and Kassidy) That's 8 kids under the age of 10! Regardless of the noise level everyone had fun playing together. We went to local parks, went for walks with the dogs (my parents have a dog too), played in the backyard, watched plays and puppet shows the kids put on, had a slumber party in the basement, visited with high school friends, visited my grandparents, etc. Ethan really enjoying all his cousins and learned a lot too.

Not too long before we left Ethan started crawling. Coming back home to Idaho he now can climb the stairs (not by himself), pull himself to stand while holding onto furniture, cruise along the furniture, and push toys across the floor whether crawling or walking behind them. He also got his third tooth while in Washington. Spencer was really surprised at all his changes! Our little boy is growing so fast now...I'm starting to miss the "laying happily content on the floor kicking his legs" stage but I'm happy for is progress as well.

Memorial Weekend

I know its way past memorial weekend, but I forgot to post something about our 4th anniversary. Four years has really gone by fast. We got married May 28th in the Idaho Falls Temple. (We picked the 28th because 2 is my favorite number and 8 is Spencer's favorite number...bet many of you didn't know that right?) Anyways I married a wonderful man. He is thoughtful, caring, and loving. He is hard-working and a great provider for our family. He is a excellent father and husband.

I was looking back in my journal and I found his notes he wrote me during his proposal. One said, "Our life together will be a lot like this river. Most of the time it runs straight and smooth, but sometimes it can be rough and make sharp turns. But I know that if we continuously love each other then we can get through anything life throws at us." May life continue with the good and bad and may our love be endless and ever growing. I really appreciate all you do. Happy Anniversary. I love you Spencer!

Crawling For Real

Yesterday Ethan crawled two steps (I guess that's what you call them) then today Spencer was playing with him while I made dinner and Ethan crawled for Spencer's phone and then the camera. I shouldn't be surprised because I knew he liked electronics. I guess he finally got motivated enough to crawl for it rather than just scream for it. Hurray! Ethan is crawling! (I know I'll regret this accomplishment in a few days...he's going to be into everything!)
